Mr. Dennis Schavietello
Mr. Schavietello has a Bachelor’s of Arts from the University of Colorado and has been a Real Estate Professional since 1986. He founded Summit Companies, in conjunction with Mr. Cashion and Mr. Upperman, in 1989, initially focusing on distressed and foreclosed properties. As markets changed and economies improved, he directed the company into development and construction, identifying market trends and capitalizing on midsize projects in the $15 to $40 million dollar range. Mr. Schavietello has lead the company from residential properties sector to health-care facilities, commercial properties and ultimately to the Family Entertainment industry. Mr. Schavietello currently focuses on the daily operations, investor relations, sales and marketing. He has been a Rotarian since the late 1970’s and has worked on Rotary projects globally.
Mr. Gary Upperman
Senior Vice President
Mr. Upperman focuses on real estate acquisition, project financing and development aspects of Summit Companies’ ventures. He has particular expertise in property uses and entitlement, with an impressive track record of knowing when to purchase, hold or liquidate acquisitions. He is an expert in negotiating partnership arrangements, as well as arranging institutional, partnership and project financing. Mr. Upperman is a licensed Real Estate Broker and a member of the Denver Board of Realtors and the Downtown Denver Partnership. Mr. Upperman is a member of the Downtown Denver Partnership and former President of the 20 Mile Village Owners Association in Parker, CO.
Mr. Nicholas Cashion
Mr. Cashion specializes in project development, construction, marketing and sales. He is responsible for field operations and management of Summit’s contractors and on-site personnel. He is a licensed Building Contractor and an expert in design development with special emphasis on project management. As a licensed Real Estate Broker and Auctioneer, he has assisted government clients with numerous real estate liquidations.
Ms. Tracy Woodward
Ms. Woodward is a licensed CPA with a Master of Science in International Business. Her primary work with Summit Companies has been in procuring finances for new projects or businesses through lending, investing, grants or incentive opportunities. The related activities supporting this work include developing financial feasibility models, business plans and proformas, preparing government reporting and filings, assisting in mergers and acquisitions, providing accounting services, presenting for lending and investment strategies, developing partnerships from a financial perspective, and managing funds and budgets for large scale projects upwards of $60 million.
